This game is a turn-based RPG made in 2 months for the Yuri Jam 2023

How to Play:

Select a character and move her with WASD, from there you are allowed a movement (until your movement bar runs out) that optionally ends with an attack

To attack, select a skill in your skill bar and come close to a target, once in range the target will be highlighted, you can then use left click to attack, your turn will automatically ends afterward

If you decide to not attack, simply press left click to end your turn

Once you played all your attacks, the AI will be given the opportunity to do the same, have fun, do crimes, be gay!*

*The Be Gay, Do Crimes team actually don't actually endorse you doing crimes outside of this game, it's however okay to be as gay as you want

I'm not a rapper,

I'm a trapper in the Four Girls Army -

Marching gaily to the beat of crime!

Fun turn-based battle game, with very sweet characters. Potty-mouthed Brit/Oz healer Willow cracks me up! Would've loved to see what the enemies look like, and looking forward to more development if that's in the works!

(The music was also very suited to the game - reminded me of the original FF7.)

That was pretty fun. I'd love to see an expanded version of this game/the characters at some point in the future!

If anyone is looking to adapt the game in the future, I'd suggest making the NPCs less flat (there were some scenes where I couldn't see the NPC until their turn), allowing me to switch between characters if I haven't done anything, and maybe some camera controls.

I'm also a little confused about how the enemy AI works... There were a lot of opportunities for them to have attacked me but then they just skipped their turns. I can see that they'll move towards my characters, but they randomly choose to attack or not. No spiderwebs or anything.

It's still a really cool little project though!

Thanks for your feedback

As one of the developer the AI was one of the thing driving me crazy, no idea why it was doing something like that, and despite spending time on it none of us managed to fix it

A fun battle system (albeit challenging without an undo button) with an affection system reminiscent of Fire Emblem Awakening! I also really like the charming in-battle sprites for the main cast.

Liking the characters a lot so far! And the combat system is a neat turn-based but I like being able to choose which character goes first. This is a neat demo! Looking forward to future builds.
